Buttermilk Falls, Martinsville NJ
This is a very easy hike and worth the 1.5 miles. If you start at the Miller Lane entrance, the hike starts off on a paved pathway down to an overlook vista that looks over the Stavola Bound Brook Quary. You then have to venture off on a dirt path that is all down hill to the man made water fall. There is a yellow trail that you can follow if you want a little more exercise, but nothing exciting, as it just leads in a loop.

There are two parking locations for this hike:
This parking is tucked in the back of a neighborhood. If you are questioning whether you are in the right spot, then you are in the right spot.
If you park here, you’d have the cross the street to get to the trail.
This isn’t the most exciting location and path to hike. I ventured there in the winter, but I am sure it would be fun on a hot summer day to get all sweaty hiking and then being refreshed by playing in the falls.
